May may kya kiya??
So… WHAT?? Blogging after a long long time hmm?? Yeah. After travelling6700 km, meeting different people and seeing different places, having a pretty mixed bag of experiences. Hmm so where all did I travel?
Traveled in the east-west corridor from Kharagpur to Mumbai, then to Gujarat and back to Mumbai, then to Delhi moving along the north-south corridor, and from Delhi, east in Uttaranchal. Finally here I am back in Mumbai. Towns or cities visited in the last one month – Kharagpur, Mumbai, Baroda, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Nainital, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Roorkee.
Guess what, on my journey back to Mumbai from Delhi, I had a nice company. In one compartment, there were us (Hindus), two Sisters from Missionary, and one Sikh saint, it was quite something. I remember in one of the journeys up towards Delhi few years back, I had two Afghanis, and two Nigerians traveling in the same compartment as me. So it’s quite nice actually traveling. And no doubt I love it so much. My summer was also to include a trip down south, but it didn’t materialize somehow. It would have been splendid visiting all four parts of India in one go. Now I have no doubts in my mind that New Delhi is unarguably the most beautiful city in India that I have been to (but I am sure there isn’t another one like this). But people are sick and don’t interact much at personal level. For example, in the society in which I was staying, I never saw anyone talking to the neighbours. And even the people are a bit hostile and shrewed. It is strange, people are more friendly and humble here in Mumbai. Anyways.
Don’t know what I’m gonna do now for the next 40 days or so. Have some plans but not many, other than meeting friends and people, all that I have been saying so far. Let’s see how the month of July works out.
